"Lap Babies" at the Library
My friend Tammy from church told me about a program at the public library called "Lap Babies," so Viviane and I joined Tammy and her daughter Anne for "Lap Babies" today! We had a great time singing, hearing stories, being around other Mommies and Babies, meeting a couple new friends, and reading and checking out some new books!!! Viviane also got a couple of stickers which was a big hit. We actually went to the 10 o'clock AND 11 o'clock programs and really enjoyed both (same general theme at both but different songs, books, and activities). Viviane was a little bit reserved during the 10 o'clock, but she acted like an "old pro" at the 11 o'clock.

What fun!! Wish I had a "lap baby" so I could join you!! :-) Good opportunities for outreach, too, it seems.
Liz, that is so neat. I have looked at reading times at our library but they are for older children. I have never seen anything for "lap babies." What fun!
Fun! I love Viviane's hairdo for the day. She looks really grown up.
This morning I just heard about a similar program here in Decatur! I guess I will have to get out there sometime--looked fun!
Evan and I will have to try that sometime, too. Was that at the downtown library? It sure sounds like fun! :-)
